Guide to Neutron Wallet’s 3 QR Codes
My QR Code (in profile)
This QR code is designed for internal transfers between Neutron Wallet users.
Found in the Profile section under "My QR Code"
Can be used by other users to send you funds
You can either:
Show your existing QR code to the sender
Or enter a specific amount to generate a new QR code for that transaction
This option is best for quick internal transfers within the Neutron Wallet app.
Receive funds via the On-chain network
This QR code is used to receive on-chain Bitcoin transfers.
Go to the Receive section in your fiat or coin wallet
Choose the On-chain tab
A unique QR code will be generated for the requested amount
Use this method when someone is sending you funds through the Bitcoin blockchain (not Lightning).
Receive funds via the Lightning Network
This QR code allows you to receive Bitcoin via the Lightning Network, which is faster and more cost-efficient than on-chain transfers.
Also located in the Receive section of your wallet
Choose the Lightning tab to create a QR code for payment
This QR code includes payment details such as the amount and expiration time
Ideal for fast and low-fee transactions using Lightning.
