Understanding Fees for On-chain Transactions

When conducting on-chain transactions, please be aware that two separate fees will be applied:
Service Fee (1%) A service fee of 1% is charged to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our system, ensuring that we can continue to offer you a seamless and efficient service. This fee is a small investment towards enhancing user experience and introducing new features to meet your evolving needs.
Network Fee In addition to the service fee, a network fee is also applicable. We do not have control over this fee, as it is paid directly to the network to process the transaction. The network fee varies depending on the congestion and traffic on the network at any given time. It is designed to ensure timely processing and confirmation of transactions even during periods of high demand.
The difference between the display value you pay for the invoice and the UI UX in the app. For instance, let’s say you are settling a Bitrefill invoice of 0.001 BTC. Upon processing the payment, you might notice that the transaction detail reflects an amount slightly less than 0.001 BTC (for example, 0.0009xxxx BTC). Rest assured, this discrepancy is normal and your invoice will be fully paid. Allow us to explain this difference:
Transaction Value Discrepancy: The apparent reduction in transaction value is not a mistake or an issue with the payment processing. It's a result of the network and service fees that are inherent in on-chain transactions. These fees are deducted from the total transaction amount, resulting in the slightly reduced value displayed in the transaction detail.
Assurance of Full Payment: Despite this slight discrepancy in the displayed transaction value, the recipient receives the full invoice amount. The network and service fees are accounted for separately, ensuring that the invoice is paid in full.
