On-chain Transaction Fees
When using Neutronpay for on-chain transactions, please note that two separate fees apply:
1️⃣ Service Fee – 1%
This fee helps support the ongoing development and maintenance of our platform. It ensures we can continue to provide fast, secure, and reliable services while also improving the product over time.
✅ Applied by Neutronpay 💡 Covers platform operations and upgrades
2️⃣ Network Fee (Variable)
This fee is set by the Bitcoin network, not by Neutronpay.
It goes directly to the network to process and confirm the transaction.
The amount changes depending on network traffic and congestion.
It ensures that your transactions are processed quickly, even during high-demand periods.
✅ Goes to Bitcoin network ⚠️ May fluctuate depending on blockchain traffic
Example: Why You Might See Less BTC in the Final Amount
Say you're paying a Bitrefill invoice of 0.001 BTC. After submitting, the confirmation might show 0.0009xxxx BTC instead.
Don’t worry — this is expected! Here's why:
🔍 Why the Value Looks Lower
Transaction Value Discrepancy The small drop is due to service and network fees being deducted during processing. It’s not a bug or payment failure.
Assurance of Full Payment Even if the visible amount is slightly reduced, the full invoice is still paid. All fees are handled in the backend to make sure the correct total is delivered.
