Send

What can I send with Neutron Wallet?

With the Send feature, you can:

  • Send Bitcoin (BTC)

    • On-chain

    • Lightning Network

  • Send USDT

    • ERC20 (Ethereum network)

    • TRC20 (Tron network)

  • Send Cash: Convert Bitcoin to local currency and send to a bank account (where supported)

What is the difference between Bitcoin On-chain and Lightning?

Bitcoin On-chain

  • Recorded directly on the Bitcoin blockchain

  • Suitable for larger transfers

  • May take longer to confirm depending on network congestion

  • Requires network fee (miner fee)

Lightning Network

  • Faster and lower fees

  • Ideal for smaller and instant payments

  • Requires a valid Lightning invoice

Choose the option that best fits your transfer amount and speed preference.

How long does a transfer take?

  • Bitcoin On-chain: Depends on network congestion (typically 10–60 minutes per confirmation).

  • Lightning: Usually instant.

  • USDT ERC20: Depends on Ethereum network speed.

  • USDT TRC20: Usually faster than ERC20.

  • Bank payout: Depends on local banking hours and processing times.

What happens if I send to the wrong address?

Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

  • Double-check the address.

  • Verify the network (BTC / Lightning / ERC20 / TRC20).

  • Confirm recipient details before sending.

Neutron Wallet cannot reverse completed blockchain transactions.

Is there a sending limit?

Sending limits may depend on:

  • Your account verification level (KYC status)

  • Local regulatory requirements

You can refer to the Transactions & Withdrawals Daily Limits for detailed information about current limits.
