Send from Bitcoin wallet

1. How do I send Bitcoin?

Step 1: Open your Bitcoin wallet

From the main screen, select your Bitcoin wallet (balance shown in sats).

Step 2: Tap Send

You will see the payment input screen.

Step 3: Enter recipient details

You can:

  • Paste a Lightning invoice

  • Paste a Lightning address

  • Paste an on-chain Bitcoin address

  • Tap Scan QR

  • Select from Contacts

Important:

  • If the Lightning invoice has expired, the payment cannot be processed.

  • Always double-check the address before proceeding. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

Step 4: Tap Continue

The system will automatically detect payment details. If the invoice includes a fixed amount, it will be displayed automatically.

Step 5: Confirm and complete

  • Lightning payments are typically processed instantly.

  • On-chain payments require blockchain confirmations.

2. What does “Expired” mean on a Lightning transaction?

Lightning invoices have a time limit. If the status shows Expired, you must request a new invoice from the recipient.

Lightning is designed for fast, temporary payment requests — not long-term payment links.

3. How are Bitcoin fees calculated?

  • Lightning: Very low fees, depending on routing within the Lightning Network.

  • On-chain: Fees depend on current Bitcoin network conditions.

All applicable fees are shown before you confirm the transaction.
