Add Payment Method (Add and Manage Bank Account)

1. What is “Add Payment Method”?

Add Payment Method allows you to link your personal bank account to Neutron Wallet in order to access local currency services, including:

  • Deposits (only for Canada)

  • Withdrawals

  • Send Cash

  • Other supported local currency transactions


2. What are the requirements to add a bank account?

To add a bank account, you must:

  • Complete KYC verification on Neutron Wallet

  • Ensure the bank account holder name exactly matches the name on your KYC identity documents

⚠️ If the names do not match, the bank account cannot be added.


3. How many bank accounts can I add?

  • Only one bank account can be linked per Neutron Wallet account at any given time.


4. Can I change my linked bank account?

Yes. To change your linked bank account:

  1. Remove the currently linked bank account

  2. Add a new bank account

⚠️ Notes:

  • You must remove the existing bank account before adding a new one

  • The new bank account must also match your KYC information


5. How do I add a bank account?

  1. Go to Wallets tab and Select Local Currency

  2. Tap Bank

  3. Select Add Method

  1. Enter the required details:

  • Bank (Institution)

  • Account Number

  • Account Holder Name

  1. Tap Continue to complete

6. How do I remove a linked bank account?

To remove a bank account:

  1. Go to Wallet → Local Currency → Bank

  2. Select the linked bank account to view Bank Details

  3. Tap Delete

  4. Confirm the deletion

Once deleted, you can add a new bank account.


7. Why can’t I add my bank account?

Common reasons include:

  • KYC is not completed

  • Bank account name does not match KYC name

  • A bank account is already linked

  • Incorrect bank or account number entered


No. Only bank accounts owned by the verified user can be linked for local currency services.


9. What can I use the bank account for?

Once linked, your bank account can be used for:

  • Local currency deposits

  • Local currency withdrawals

  • Other supported local currency transactions


10. What should I do if I encounter issues while adding a bank account?

Please:

  • Check your KYC status

  • Confirm your bank account name matches your KYC documents

  • Remove and re-add the bank account if applicable

  • Contact [email protected] if the issue persists
