Unlike deposits, local currency withdrawals are supported for users in all countries where Neutron Wallet operates.

  • Withdrawal availability depends on:

    • The country your account is registered in

    • The local currency your account is set up with

As long as your account supports a local currency, you can withdraw funds using the available payout method.


2. Do I need to complete KYC to withdraw funds?

Yes. You must complete identity verification (KYC) before you can withdraw funds from Neutron Wallet.

KYC is required to:

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions

  • Ensure the safety of your account and funds

If your KYC is incomplete or pending, withdrawals will not be available.


3. Why is deposit limited to Canada, but withdrawal is available globally?

  • Local currency deposits are currently limited to Canada due to regulatory requirements.

  • Local currency withdrawals are supported globally, based on your account’s configured currency and jurisdiction.

This allows Neutron Wallet to remain compliant while still enabling users worldwide to access their funds.


4. How do I withdraw local currency from my Neutron Wallet?

To withdraw local currency:

  1. Open Wallets and select your local currency wallet (e.g. CAD)

  2. Tap BankWithdraw

  3. Choose the available withdrawal method

  4. Enter the amount you want to withdraw

  5. Confirm the withdrawal request

Once processed, funds will be sent to your linked bank or payout method.


5. What withdrawal methods are available?

Withdrawal methods depend on your currency and country.

For example:

  • CAD: Interac e-Transfer

  • Other currencies: supported local bank transfer methods

The app will automatically display the methods available for your account.


6. Are there any withdrawal fees?

Withdrawal fees vary by currency and payout method.

  • All applicable fees are clearly displayed in the app before confirmation

  • Example:

    • CAD Interac withdrawal fee: $5.00 CAD

Neutron Wallet does not apply hidden fees.


7. How long does it take to receive my withdrawal?

Processing times depend on the payout method and local banking schedules:

  • Most local currency withdrawals are processed quickly

  • Delays may occur due to:

    • Bank processing times

    • Public holidays

    • Additional compliance or verification checks

You can monitor the withdrawal status directly in the app.


8. Important note for users in Indonesia 🇮🇩

For Indonesia (ID), withdrawals may take longer if requested during the weekend.

  • If you submit a withdrawal request on Saturday or Sunday:

    • The funds may only be credited to your bank account on the next business day (typically Monday)

  • This delay is due to local banking operating hours and is expected behavior

We recommend submitting withdrawal requests on business days for faster processing.


9. Can I withdraw funds if I’m not in Canada?

Yes. You do not need to be located in Canada to withdraw local currency.

As long as:

  • Your Neutron Wallet account is active

  • Your KYC is completed

  • Your account supports a local currency

You can withdraw funds using the supported method.


10. What should I do if my withdrawal fails or is delayed?

If you experience an issue with a withdrawal:

  • Check:

    • Your KYC status

    • Withdrawal amount and method

    • Whether the request was made on a weekend or public holiday

    • Transaction status in the app

  • If the issue persists, contact Neutron Support with:
