1. What is Swap?

Swap allows you to instantly convert one asset to another within your Neutron Wallet, without sending funds out of the app.

You can swap between supported assets such as:

  • BTC / SATS

  • USDT

  • Local currencies (where supported for your account)


2. Do I need to complete KYC to use Swap?

Yes. You must complete identity verification (KYC) before using the Swap feature.

KYC is required to:

  • Comply with regulatory requirements

  • Prevent misuse and fraud

  • Ensure secure asset conversions

If your KYC is incomplete or pending, Swap will not be available.


3. How do I make a swap?

To perform a swap:

  1. Go to Swap from the bottom navigation

  2. Select the asset you want to swap From

  3. Select the asset you want to swap To

  4. Enter the amount

  5. Tap Preview to review details

  6. Confirm the swap within 30s

Once confirmed, the swap is executed instantly.


4. What assets can I swap between?

Available swap pairs depend on:

  • Your account setup

  • Supported assets in your region

The app will only display assets that are available for your account.


5. Is there a fee for swapping?

  • There is no service fee when using the Swap feature.

  • The amount you see in the Preview / Confirmation screen is the exact amount you will receive.

There are no hidden fees.


6. How is the exchange rate determined?

  • Exchange rates are based on real-time market prices

  • The applied rate is shown in the Preview screen (e.g. 1 BTC = X USDT)

Rates may fluctuate due to market conditions.


7. How long is a swap quote valid?

Each swap quote is valid for 30 seconds.

  • The remaining time is shown as “Expires in”

  • If you do not confirm the swap within 30 seconds:

    • The quote will automatically expire

    • The swap request will be cancelled automatically

    • No funds will be exchanged

You can generate a new quote at any time.


8. Is the swap instant?

Yes. Once confirmed:

  • The swap is executed instantly

  • Wallet balances update immediately

The transaction will appear in your transaction history.


9. Why is the maximum swap amount limited?

The maximum amount depends on:

  • Your available balance

  • Market liquidity

  • Account and risk limits

The app automatically shows the maximum swappable amount.


10. Can I cancel a swap?

  • You can cancel the swap before confirming

  • If the quote expires after 30 seconds, it will be automatically cancelled

  • Once a swap is confirmed, it cannot be reversed

Always review the Preview screen before confirming.


11. What should I do if my swap fails?

If a swap does not go through:

  • Check:

    • Your balance

    • Whether the quote expired

    • Your internet connection

  • If the issue persists, kindly send an email to [email protected] with:

    • Swap pair

    • Amount

    • Time of attempt
